Retest Scans

A Retest scan is a single-target check you run against one specific Finding to confirm whether that vulnerability still exists. It lets you quickly verify the result of a remediation without running a full Comprehensive scan against the entire Asset.

Starting a Retest Scan

You start a retest from the Findings detail of an Asset.

  1. On the Asset detail page, open the “Findings” tab and click the Finding you want to retest to open its detail drawer.

  2. In the top right of the drawer, click the “Retest” button.

  3. Review the confirmation dialog and click the “Run” button to create the retest scan.

Like a Comprehensive scan, a Retest scan is added to the queue first and runs in queue order.
